Why Are Over 600 Nigerians Shops Still Locked At Circle - Assian Victor Writes

Is The Closure Of Nigerian Border Part Of The Problem ?

Is Guta still Right To Carry Out This Excersise Under Ecowas ?

Is This Politics?

On the 1st of december 2019, Nigerians woke up to the news that their shops has been locked at Accra Kwame Nkuruma circle, well people took to be one of the numorious rumors flying around and they didn't take it serious until it got to a fight. owners of the shops arrived to meet their shops locked by the members of Ghana union of traders GUTA and out of anger they broke the padlock which lead to a serious fight between Nigerians and Ghanaians who were present. watch this short video as posted by a facebook user.

well days past and the police were able to settle the situation and restore peace but the shops are still locked till date. The president of the nigerian union of traders NUTA has spoken and and appeal  with Nigerian not to take laws into their own hand as the situation will be resolved soon but it seems this is more than just Guta and Nuta fight as we the spectators believe is not political. few months ago the president of the federal of Nigeria announced the closure of the Nigeiran  border which Ghanaians believe to have affected their trading, their export to Nigeria  and thus lead to Guta locking the Nigerians shops in the name of not allowing  foreigners to go into retail business. could this be the reason why over 600 Nigerians shops are still locked ?

Well all hope wasn't lost as the Nigerian traders were waiting fo the president of Ghana to give a say  and it didn't tur out the way they plan.
while the Nigerians are still believing that they are covered under Ecowas, the Guta believes that the Ecowas law is dead.

watch the videos of what happened on the 1st of december and lets hear your feedback.
